Surgicare is a provider for most health insurance plans.  Our administrative staff will assist with any necessary paperwork and other requirements relative to your insurance provider. We can also arrange for out-of-network benefits with insurers not listed below.  Please inquire with our office staff if you have any questions or if you do not see your insurance plan listed. For the above insurance carriers patients will be responsible for any applicable co-payments, co-insurance or deductibles on the day of your surgery.

We will balance bill the patient for any carrier whom we are not contracted with (as required by federal law). In the event of a financial hardship we will consider not balance billing the patient. In this case the patient must be able to prove financial hardship (as required by federal law). *We participate in all GHI Plans except FLEX SELECT (Flex Select participants will be treated as an out of network patient)

Billing Information

Facility fees for ambulatory surgery are typically covered by most private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid. Deductibles and co-insurance are the responsibility of the patient and are payable the day of surgery. As a courtesy, SurgiCare will file your insurance claim for you.

Surgeon’s fees, anesthesia and pre-admission testing are not part of the SurgiCare facility fee and are billed separately to your insurance company.

Payment can be made by credit card and financing arrangements may be available for self pay patients.
